Baby gear is expensive, and most of it is useful for such a short period of time. That’s why I love products that grow with your baby through more than just one developmental stage. It’s such a great way to save on space, and although often more of an investment in the beginning, items that grow with baby can actually help you save money in the long run.
Below are ten favorite baby products that will grow with your child.
| Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chair (Retail: $249) | The Tripp Trapp is one of the most iconic baby products on the market. It was designed in the early 70s and has maintained its popularity throughout the years. It grows with babies from 6 months into adulthood. (It’s true!) The seat and footrest are fully adjustable, and it can be pulled right up to the table so baby can eat right with you. (The Tripp Trapp Baby Set is recommended for babies and young toddlers.)
| The Land of Nod Flex 4-in-1 Crib (Retail: $999) | This nursery collection starts as a bassinet for infants, then converts to a crib and then a toddler bed with a rolling storage bin.
| Skip Hop Explore & More 3-Stage Activity Center (Retail: $120) | Use it first as a seated activity center for the young babies, then as they start cruising you can remove the seat so they can stand and play with the attached toys. It can then be converted to a play table for your toddler! Comes with 25+ development toys that can be positioned based on baby’s abilities.
| Graco 4Ever All-in-One Convertible Car Seat (Retail: $299.99) | This is an all-in-one car seat that can grow with your child from birth through their grade school years. It may be the only car seat they’ll ever need! Use first as a rear-facing seat, then as a forward-facing five-point harness, then a high-back belt-positioning booster, and finally as a backless booster.
| Ergobaby ADAPT 3 Position Baby Carrier (Retail: $144) | The ADAPT baby carrier grows with baby from newborn to their toddler years with no infant insert needed. It has three positions including the front inward, hip, and back carry.
| Baby Jogger City Select Stroller (Retail: $529.99) | This stroller doesn’t just grow with your baby but also with your family! It can be used as a single stroller (with the regular seat, a bassinet, or as a travel system), and then as your family grows it can be converted to a double stroller with the purchase of a second seat. You can even add a glider board for an older sibling. There are over sixteen seat configurations to make the City Select work perfectly for your family.
| Mamas & Papas Baby Bud Booster Seat ($69.99) | The Baby Bud is a booster seat that fits children from 6 months up to 3 years old. It can be used on the floor as an infant seat for younger babies, and then attached to a dining room chair as a booster seat for older babies. The foam seat insert keeps younger babies comfortable and secure, but can be later removed to give toddlers extra space. You can also use the additional Babyplay Activity Tray to keep your baby entertained.
| Ubbi 3-in-1 Potty and Step Stool (Retail: $39.99) | This is three products in one – start out using it as a floor potty, then when your child is ready the seat can be used as a toilet trainer, and finally the base converts to a step stool!
| Skip Hop Moby Bathtub with Sling (Retail:$29.99) | This bathtub grows with baby through three stages – newborn, infant, and sitter. The sling locks into two positions, a higher position to fully support newborns and a lower position that gives seated support to infants. Once your child is sitting, remove the sling and and bathe your baby in the base.
| JJ Cole Polar Bundleme ($119.95) | The Polar Bundleme is an extendable version of the original Bundleme that works for children ages 0 to 4. As your child grows, simply unzip the hidden lower panel for extra leg room. It’ll keep your little one super cozy and warm while in the stroller.
