Hey all you Blabla enthusiasts! Have you seen the newest additions to the knit dolls family?
Yep! Two hippos (a boy and a girl! hooray!) named Jacques & Esther and they are oh-so-cute! Like other knit Blabla dolls, they are available in two sizes – the standard 18″ doll ($56) and the mini 12″ doll ($44). And if you’ve ever owned a Blabla you’ll know they’re worth the investment!
For those of you that may be new to Blabla Kids
, it’s a children’s toy and decor company based out of Atlanta, Georgia. It was started in 2001 by two friends Susan Pritchett and Florence Wetterwald who during a trip to Peru were inspired by the villages of talented artisan knitters. They decided to start their own company selling fair-trade hand-knit dolls created by those same artisans. Their dolls are beautifully made using 100% Peruvian cotton. Although the knit dolls are a Blabla favorite, the company also carries the sweetest bedding, decor, tote bags, and toys you ever did see. We’re big fans in our house!
