ARE KIDS’ HUNTER BOOTS WORTH THE PRICE?

We have owned quite a few pairs of kids’ Hunter Boots over the years, and although pricier than other brands, they are 100% worth the price for me! The kids love them, and they survive through multiple years and kids.

Living in Seattle, we put our rain boots to the test, and not just during the rainy season but also for beach and wilderness exploring. When they get dirty, we clean them up with soap or I use the Magic Eraser, and they look new again. I have pairs that have survived three kids now, and they still look good!

We typically hand them off to friends, but I hear they have a good resale value too.

WHAT SIZE OF HUNTER BOOTS SHOULD I ORDER MY CHILD?

I get lots of questions from parents asking what size of Hunter Boots to order for their kids. And I get it because it’s confusing at first, and here’s why.

Hunter lists the UK size on the bottom of their boots. So, if you order a US size 9 toddler, the size printed on the bottom of the boot and the box will be an 8. This means that you might think you were sent the wrong size boot, or if you want to size up and glance at the bottom of your child’s current pair of boots, you might make a mistake and order the same size again.

What you want to look at is the tag printed on the inside of the boot shaft that lists both the UK and the US sizes. You can see your child’s current size, and decide what to order next from there.
