Happy Friday!! Am I ever thankful for the weekend. This one was a rough one for me. Mae’s been super clingy and irritable all week, which is always hard, but the real topper was Winnie’s epic blowout in the middle of Target. We’re talking shit (sorry, mom) everywhere. All over Winnie, her blanket, her car seat, my white shirt…everywhere. And just to top it all off, Winnie was pissed about it. So there I am with a screaming poop-covered baby in one arm, attempting to push my cart towards the restroom with the other, all while my toddler narrates for everyone. “Mom, Winnie pooped! It’s on her leg. We need to change Winnie. There’s poop on her! Mom, the poop’s on your arm!” THANKS, MAE. But I got my hands on the Easter decor I was after, so it was all worth it in the end.

Madre & Baby Tees

I’ve been thinking quite a bit about the blog over the past few months, and what I want to share in this space. When I started this blog, my main goal was to share stylish & affordable clothing and decor for children. And although I love the deals, and have no intention to stop sharing them, I’d like to spend more time developing new content. So look forward to more posts about affordable decor & clothing, and even some fashion for mamas too! I’m also gonna join in on Friday Favorites because I so enjoy them on other blogs and hope you guys love them too. So here we go!

1 |  This tutu dress is Mae’s current obsession. And when she loves something, I stock up because she is so picky! We already have two colors and I’m considering buying it in a third. Mae adds some crazy print leggings and her favorite pink cowboy boots, and she’s all set for the day. *Save 30% through Saturday with code DRESSEDUP.

2 |  These huarache sandals are my current obsession, so much so that I bought them in both black and cognac. They’re the perfect mama sandal because they’re easy to slip on and head out the door. Plus you can’t beat the price.

3 |  Of course I love the new Oh Joy! Nursery Collection for Target, and on Sunday she’s releasing a 50+ piece line of mix-and-match baby apparel! It’s going to be online only, so keep an eye on the this page for when it finally goes live.

4 |  Amazon has an awesome deal right now for $25 back on $50 of Luxury Beauty Products. So many brands like Bliss, Chi, Essie, L’Occcitane, and Stila are included. Plus my very favorite hair brand Oribe. I am super cheap about personal products, but my one splurge is Oribe. A couple of my favorites are the Heat Styling Spray, the Superfine Hair Spray, and I also love their texturizing sprays. Shop all products eligible for the promotion here and use code LUX25BACK at checkout – they’ll send you $25 towards a future purchase (item must be shipped & sold from Amazon).

5 |  How cute are these pot of gold cupcakes for St. Patrick’s Day? Bonus that they’re totally doable to those of us that are Pinterest-challenged and I’ll have an excuse to buy Lucky Charms. Done.

Also, Little Standout (my new favorite teethers) has extended the exclusive discount for you guys – use code THRIFTY20 to save 20% at checkout. These would be perfect for an Easter basket!

I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend! We have dinner & brunch plans with friends, but tonight I’m hoping for a lazy night on the couch. xo.
