So many baby posts lately, I know! But that’s just been where my mind’s been as I try to get things ready for baby girl to arrive! I’m so behind compared to where I was last time, but I’m sure that’s how lots of mamas are the second time around.
I’ve been doing some shopping lately and decided to share with you some of my favorite shops/brands for newborn clothes. I mostly stick to affordable, easy pieces like my favorite Gerber Side-Snap Shirts for days we’re just lounging around the house, but I also love to buy a few nicer things as well for the days I get up the courage to venture into the world.
Oh, and while we’re on the topic of baby clothes, I can’t live without these Carter’s Sleeveless Bodysuits – I used them almost daily under everything. They keep babies a little warmer, keep their bellies covered when they’re in gowns or tees, protect their clothes against baby blowouts (well, some blowouts), and add another layer to protect against baby drool. I think I had two sets in every size.
1 | Kate Quinn Organics: High-quality organic baby basics in a variety of prints. (Kimono Bodysuit)
2 | Burt’s Bees: Organic children’s clothing at a lower price point than many other organic brands. Love that you can buy it at Target! (Romper)
3 | L’ovedBaby: One of my favorites for solid baby basics! I absolutely love their infant gowns, but rumor has it their sizing is tiny. (Kimono Bodysuit)
4 | H&M: One of the best places to stock up on affordable baby clothes – the quality is impressive for the inexpensive prices. (Jumpsuit)
5 | Polarn O Pyret: High-quality clothing & bold, modern prints. (Wrap Bodysuit)
6 | Baby Gap: Their First Favorites line is a classic plus they have some of their other baby clothes in sizes as small as newborn. (Dot terry one-piece)
7 | Old Navy: Of course another favorite place to stock up on affordable pieces for baby, especially sleepers (this zippered one is brilliant)! (Colorblock Footed Sleeper)
8 | Hanna Andersson: Love their Bright Baby Basics Collection. And did you know you can get most of their classic sleepers in newborn size now? (Psst, their pilots caps are the BEST.) (Striped Bodysuit)
9 | Baby Soy: High-quality, eco-friendly baby basics. (Kimono Bundler)
10 | Cotton On: On-trend, affordable clothing for babies. Love their print tees & onesies! Sizes go quick, so keep an eye on their website. (Romper)
11 | Tea Collection: While their newborn collection isn’t huge, the pieces are darling and super functional. (Convertible Gown)
12 | Zutano: High-quality, modern baby basics in colorful prints. Their fleece booties for babies are so good. (Striped Footie)
13 | Kickee Pants: You’ll never find baby clothing softer than Kickee Pants. They come in a variety of fun prints too. (Layette Gown)
14 | Next: A UK brand with super affordable and on-trend clothes for kids (think H&M). (Striped Romper)
15 | Mini Boden: High-quality baby clothes in classic, modern prints. (Snap Romper)
Are there any other brands you guys love? Or items you can’t live without?
