Last week I shared the playspace and reading nook I created for Mae to use after school, and today I’m sharing the arts & crafts space I created in the girls’ room! Both of the girls will spend hours creating anything & everything they can think of, so I wanted them to have a designated space for them in their room (and far far away from the dining room). We had a toddler table from years back, but both girls had outgrown it and it was time for an upgrade!

If you saw the playspace & reading nook I shared last week, you already know that Walmart has absolutely adorable furniture and decor for kids! I’ve also been really impressed with the quality and love that it’s affordable too!

To create this space, I used this Kids Table and Stool Set that comes with a square table and two stools. This table is such high quality – it’s solid wood and super sturdy. Since the top is painted, it’s also easy to wipe clean. I added this knit pouf as extra seating since there are times when all three kids are at the table together. I also love to mix-and-match furniture, and when one of the stools isn’t in use here we use it as a side table in the playspace, which is right outside the girls’ room. Accessories include a basket from this nesting basket set that holds supplies (here’s another good option) and this geometric giraffe (it matches the elephant from the playspace).

I’m thrilled with the way that both spaces came together and how well they compliment each other! They technically are in two different rooms, but just steps away from each other. We’ve been so happy with the selection and quality of the items we received from Walmart. Highly recommend!
