I confess that I’m not the most exciting person when it comes to finding out the gender of my babes. Maybe it’s because we don’t have too much family nearby or the fact that I don’t like a lot of attention on me, but I’ve never been tempted to throw a gender reveal party. Instead I have just gone the traditional route and found out the gender during the ultrasound. Boring, I know.

If I have another shot at it, I think I’ll do something a bit more fun! I recently stumbled upon these gender reveal balloons from Etsy shop Knot & Bow and they have me wishing I’d done something like this during my last pregnancy.

Gender Reveal Confetti Balloon

Even if you’re not one to throw a gender reveal party, it’d still be fun to take one of these oversized balloons to the park to pop with the older children or close family (be sure to bring a friend to snap pics for the baby book too). I know Mae would’ve loved something like this and it’s a good idea to involve the other kids with the upcoming arrival!

These confetti balloons cost just $16, not too much for a memorable experience and some fun pics! You can either purchase with both pink and blue confetti, or if you already know the gender you can select either pink or blue confetti here.
