Happy Monday! We’re kicking this week off right with a review + giveaway of my favorite toddler tableware, Re-Play. I discovered Re-Play products over a year ago when searching for toddler dishes online about the time Mae started solids. I ordered a set off of Amazon because of their fab reviews and have been hooked ever since! Let me tell you all the reasons why.
Re-Play Recycled Divided Plates
Re-Play tableware is made from #2 HDPE plastic, which is just a fancy way of saying they’re made from recycled milk jugs. You know this just makes my eco-friendly heart so happy! The milk jugs are recycled using a unique process that the FDA has approved for food contact. They are BPA, Phthalate, and PVC free making them completely safe for little ones.
Re-Play products are manufactured, assembled, and packaged right here in the USA. The total miles traveled from recycled materials to finished product is just 940 miles — quite a difference to the 12,000 miles traveled on average by plastic products manufactured in China. Cutting down on distance traveled during production also helps out the environment by reducing green house gases and saving energy.
Re-Play Recycled Tableware
Beyond being green and safe for your family, Re-Play products are also super durable even though they’re surprisingly lightweight. I bought our first set over a year ago and they look almost identical to the day we received them. They haven’t faded, haven’t been stained by foods, and have held up to being dropped and, let’s be honest, thrown to the floor by a toddler multiple times. They do have a couple light scratches but those are mostly due to my laziness of cutting up food with a real knife while it’s on the plate. Oopsie! 😉
Re-Play Recycled Utensils
Of the multiple Re-Play products I’ve used, my favorites so far are the divided plates and the utensils. The plates are deep (unlike many other toddler plates), and this depth makes it much easier for toddlers to eat without their food being pushed off of their plate. The utensils are fabulous because they actually work — the fork effectively “stabs” food but is still safe because it has rounded edges and the spoon is deep enough to scoop food (hallelujah!).
Also, when your toddler is finished eating you can throw these dishes right in the dishwasher (top rack only). They clean really easily so I typically just wash by hand, but I like the option to throw them in the dishwasher for an occasional deep cleaning too. Once they’re clean, you can easily stack them on up for storage.

Re-Play Recycled Divided Plates
Lastly, I love Re-Play because their prices are affordable! A two-pack of divided plates retails for just $5.99 — I’ve seen divided plates for toddlers selling for over $12 a piece. And the fact the prices are so low for an eco-friendly, recycled, USA-made product just make it that much better!

The one drawback I’ve read is that Re-Play tableware isn’t microwave-safe, although this has never been an issue for us. Truth is, we don’t even own a microwave right now! 🙂 Overall, I just love Re-Play products and I’m convinced that you will too. I’ve never owned any other toddler dishes because these meet all of our needs. Plus I just love the simple design & bold colors too!
